FMT board blue\purple wire

I have a WD-52527 and I recently replaced the caps on the FMT board...I noticed a purple wire running from the FC connector to another point on the board...I have seen pictures of other tv's and the wire is blue...anyone know the function of this wire?

I was still getting the blinking green light after replacing the caps...so I checked the diodes and this particular wire...I took the wire off and now the tv works properly...

Sony KP-51WS500 CLICK-CLICK on CLICK-CLICK off

I have been given a Sony KP-51WS500, was told a "Possible blown fuse". Well, it's deeper than that.  When I plug into an outlet I hear CLICK-CLICK immediately followed by a CLICK-CLICK. The Timmer/standby light blinks SIX times repeatedly.  I have no Owners Manual for this unit and at this time am totally clueless as to the problem. I sure could use a proffesional opinion. PLEASE, anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Mitsubishi WS-65813 and 1080P

I have a Mitsubishi WS-65813 and it is great but my new Sony BluRay DVD player will only output up to 1080i thru the RGB inputs to the TV.

 

Can this TV output 1080p?

 

Will a HDFury work on this TV up to 1080p?
