MITS WD62525 fix or not that is the question????

I have a MIts 62' DLP that is making a whirrilling noise, I ASSUME it is a broken color wheel.  I have had the set just over five years and hence the 5year warrenty expired this past November 09. I just had a power problem worked on under warrenty, bad caps, they replaced the board in October09.

My delima is whether to order a replacement light engine $500 (online) plus anything else it may have taken with it or give up and replace the set. close to 4K for this thing 5years ago, not a good return on investment.

Samsung HL-P5063W STRANGE ISSUES!

Hello, this is my first post about this. I have a Samsung HL-P5063W & the other day it has been doing something very strange. After its been on for a few mins, the TV wont respond to the remote or any buttons pushed on the set itself. The image is un-predicable, it'll either wash out, the blacks will turn do dark green, or the screen will get very dark and NOTHING will change until I pull the plug out of the power outlet. Then it does it all over again after its been on for a few mins. Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance.

Mitsubishi VS-6017R power problems

I have a Mitsubishi vs-6017r. When I push the power button I hear a click but no light thru the color tubes. I assume I am getting power cause the click sound. I checked the barrel fuses and they aren't blown. Is my lamp out or do I have a more serious problem? It was working fine yesterday. Please help me. Email at [email protected]

Mitsubishi WS-55807 Error Code 2-2

So I just picked up this TV for free and was told it has a blown fuse. I don't know if the previous owner took it to get fixed and that's what they were told, or if they just assume that's what's wrong.

I plan on replacing some fuses and the Convergences IC's. I also bought some capicitors just in case the dm board is shot (or ever goes bad in the future).

Was wondering if anyone has any info on this TV and problems with it. I spent $25 on it so far and I'm not looking to spend anymore seeing as it's a free project to me and i dont know if it's even fixable.

Sony KP-43HT20 Convergence Problem

I am currently in the process of repairing my sony KP-43HT20 projection tv convergence issue.  However, I cannot find anywhere if the yellow pico fuses are either slow blow or fast acting.  The yellow fuses in question are directly under the IC heat sink.  They are in the ps8001, ps8002, ps 8003, ps8004, ps8005 and ps8006.  This community has provided me with a great deal of knowledge regarding this repair. I would just like to thank all the experts who are providing the average joe knowledge with these repairs.

Thanks,

James
