So I just picked up this TV for free and was told it has a blown fuse. I don't know if the previous owner took it to get fixed and that's what they were told, or if they just assume that's what's wrong.
I plan on replacing some fuses and the Convergences IC's. I also bought some capicitors just in case the dm board is shot (or ever goes bad in the future).
Was wondering if anyone has any info on this TV and problems with it. I spent $25 on it so far and I'm not looking to spend anymore seeing as it's a free project to me and i dont know if it's even fixable.
I was hoping the power supply isn't bad. Would that throw a 2-2 code also?
And just incase replacing the fuses and IC's don't help, what would be the next step...
Also, can I get some instructions for a dm board repair?
