Television and Home Theater

I HAVE A 42IN JVC HD-ILA TV WAS WORKING GREAT UNTILL TODAY. I TURNED IT ON AND STAYED ON FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES THEN PICTURE DISAPEARD AND THE POWER BLUE LIGHT WAS ON BUT THE ORANGE LIGHT WAS FLASHING THEN ABOUT TEN MINUTES LATER THE PICTURE JUST GOES ON AGAIN THEN REPEATS MISSPLACED MY MANUEL WOULD ANY ONE KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING TO IT

about 4 or 5 inches from the top coming down now. any ideas, suggestions, i have the TV apart, looking for anything out of the ordinary, but i am a novice.... THANKS!

has been fixed 3 or 4 times before. Pulled it apart found what I believe to be a thermistor cracked apart, as well as the 5 amp fuse blown. Went to 3 local shops and the last one (a GE service place) said he cant get the part. Come on it is a damn thermistor. He said he cant cross the part number because it is a "house" number. Someone must be able to point me in the correct direction.

It kind of looks as though it has maybe been fixed before.
