Television and Home Theater

I am using a ViewSonic TFT monitor as TV using the techcom external TV tuner card. The problem i see that the channel clarity is not very clear at all where as the tuner card shows very good TV channels on a CRT monitor. Can you please tell me what should i do to get really clear pictures (not blurred and ghost images).

I have a 4 year old 32 inch sony tv and just recently I noticed color bleeding across the screen, this is especially noticble with white objects. My tv is hooked up using s video cable to a directv receiver. I tried adjusting contrast and brightness settings on tv, but this does not help. Any suggestions?

I would be most greatful to any one who could advise me on the following:
I have today purchased a Digital Set Top Box by Philips modle no: DTR 200/05.
My TV is very old and does not have a SCART socket. The DTR 200/05 comes without a RF Out lead. I was told by the Tesco staff when buying the DTR that i should by a RF Out lead and the system would work. However the system does not regonise the remote controll.
