Television and Home Theater

I am having a problem with this television. When I try to turn it on it makes a loud buzzing noise and nothing happens. Can anyone help please.

I just bought a GEM GM190B monitor which has a dual cable. One is for VGA to my PC and the other is a DVI-D cable. I have video built in on my PC. How would I be able to connect the DVI-D cable to my computer instead of the VGA cable? If I read correctly, the DVI-D will give me a clearer, quicker, cleaner picture. Is that a true statement also?

Had no picture...thru the internet, I had the main board repaired and just re-installed it!!!

At Start-up everything good, except no screen to view setup etc...Turn the TV off, and you see the screen for a flash, with whatever you were doing, camera, setup, a channal, etc...
A new remote from Phillips I puchased works the TV!!!
It is like the TV is in sleep or locked mode???

Anyone had this situation and a fix???
