Magnavox crt rear projection TV model 51MP392H/17 shifts AV inputs

I have a Magnavox model 51MP392H/17 crt rear projection TV. With an annoying problem.

1) sometimes the TV will not turn on.

2) when I am able to turn on the tv, there are times when it will not turn off.

3) When off the TV will turn itself on.

4) when on the TV will act normaly sometimes, however sometimes it will change AV inputs by its self. This problem is now lasting days. I must unplug the TV at night as it is in the bedroom and will turn itself on all night long.

Toshiba screen turns GREEN

Ya, this is an old one... purchased in 1994.  Model # CX35D60

Majority of the time the picture turns to a shade of green.  Sometimes it will change back to the proper colors.  Once it changes to green it can not be manually reset.   Please, someone tell me this is an easy fix!

Help! Crackling and Squealing Sounds

Help! When I turn on my television there is a high pitched squealing noise that accompanies the audio. After that dies down and disappears static/crackling like noises overpower the volume. I can turn the volume completely up and you can comfortably hear the TV but the crackling comes and goes every few seconds. If the video input is chosen and we play a movie or dvd the sound is fine. I tried dusting around the cable cord areas and reconnecting as well as jiggling and tightening the cable connections/cord but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?
