convergance problem with a twist i changed both ic's in this set but maybe thats not the problem the green screen is out of convergance alright as well it seems out of focus so it creates kind of a halo around any image am i looking in the wrong circuit thanks leroy
Ok, it may just be out of focus, remove the front panel of your tv, you will see controls under this panel for focus, after you get it focused, go into the factory convergence mode and check the convergence.
thanks for the tip however i dont have the manual for this one can you direct me to a patterned prcedure so as i don't forget a step and not remember to put things back in proper order thanks leroy
tried to focus green screen does not focus still appears to bloom out around red and blue stopped here wait further instructions leroy
Well, i am not looking at the set, but here are some suggestions that may help. Dust on the lens inside the tv can cause a haze kind of effect, try cleaning the lenses. also try turning down the brightness that is the other knob on that same block see if that helps. If none of that works, try taking a picture of the problem and posting it here. Maybe after i see it i will have a better idea what is going on.
