I have a problem with my Philips LX3000D DVD player and home cinema surround sound system, which I am hoping someone can offer some advice for.
The issue seems to be an intermittent power outage meaning I cannot use it for long periods of time. For no apparent reason the power LED Stand By light at the front of the system sometimes doesn’t come on, and there is no power, even though all leads are plugged in and it is turned on. Then, without explanation, I will notice that the red light is on, when this occurs the system works. I’ve tried changing the power lead in case that was faulty, but that doesn’t appear to be the problem.
Any help or advice is appreciated,
