Sony 19"
KV-19TS20
Hello,
I have an old Sony CRT Tv and the sound is constantly going out. So i have to get up and hit the side of the Tv and the sound comes back on. Upon further inspection i noticed that i can get the sound to come back on by slightly wiggling the RCA inputs on the back of the television. So i am assuming the problem is somehow connected to that area? I use the tv speakers and DO NOT have any of the RCA's hooked up.
Any ideas where i shall begin to troubleshoot this problem? Things to check/solder/re-solder? Thanks for your time.
Regards,

Do you lose sound to the a/v jacks when it happens? Possibly a loose wire or cold solder crack, google that for pics it's sometimes easy to find just by looking at the entire board.
I don't know man, this problem must solve with a tech. I would recommend my tech www.tvrepairjacksonvillefl.com but isn't near your zone. You should search a good tech.
Just check for cold solider connections near the audio section of the broad or check for bad caps
