Ihave a projection unit that I thought had a blinking light problem but now the power doesn't even come on. Does this partiular model have another problem that is common and how can it be corected.
Try pushing and holding menu and device buttons on the tv if you have them for 5 seconds and see if it flashes count them and get back to me. THIS kit may be the fix.
I have tried your suggestion of pushing the 2 buttons for 5 sec. No results. When I did plug the set in I had some erratic flashes of the green light. No particular pattern.
My Mits 50705 - when I plug it in I get the green light blinking erratically and then it seems to fade out as if it loses power. Could I be losing a power supply or capacitor?

If you don't have a device button try holding the input and menu buttons.
