Just replaced all the capacitors on the DM board because TV was not coming on at all. Now the tv turns on just fine, plays for about 1 minute then shuts itself off and green blinking light comes on. The blinking light turns itself off after about 2 minutes. When we do the the error code it comes up one blink, then two blinks which we were told is no error. Can anyone give us any ideas what we could do next???? Thanks!!
What type of capacitors did you use high temp or regular 85 degrees ones? Did you use the exact values or did you change some? Check your connections.
we used the 85 degree capacitors...exact replicas of what was in there. We were told the 85 degree ones would be fine but that the TV may only last a few years as compared to the 105 degree ones that the TV would last a LONG time. We could not find the 105 degree capacitors anywhere. As far as the connections you are talking about...do you mean the soldering?
Scratch the connections your capacitors are the problem, did you get them at radio shack? Click HERE for a quality repair kit with quality parts.
