my dvd player has loud huming noise and the movies that play on it are gr

my  question  didnt  go  through  ill  try  again   i  am  having  a  problem   with  my  magnavox dvd  player .  iam  in  the  process  of   dubbing  all  my  vhs  movies   into  dvd  my  player  never  had  problems    until i started  doing  this    now  all  of  the  sudden  there  is  a  humming  sound     the  humming  is  even   worse  when  i  put  it  timer  record   and  when  delete  a  tital    and  the  picture   turn  out  green    the  player  is  only  2  yrs   old    couild  someone  please  help  me
