I have a Sony KP-57WS500 a friend gave me, the convergence chips went out, he went into service mode and tried to adjust convergence with out replacing the chips and screwed everything up. I replaced the convergence chips, and tried to readjust convergence, however he somehow screwed up the factory default settings. Now the High Def seems to be stuck in Partial Zoom, in Video 5 and 6, How do I adjust the basic geometry adjustments like linearity, and width, height adjustments, I noticed you mentioned it in another thread but you did not go into detail. Also if you have the service manual for this set I would love to have a copy of it my email is [email protected]
http://www.techlore.com/download/23110/Sony-KP-51-57-65-WS500/ page 17 on the right side I dont know if you mean he messed up factory default in the service menu but you can push 8 then enter and reset it.page 41 on the right side Once ntsc FULL SCREEN mode is converged properly you can go to PJE and select ALCP and set the data to 01 then mute and enter and it copies the full mode to all others,wide,zoom,wide zoom etc.
