mitsubishi WS-65909 green convergence problem

My WS-65909 has lost the green convergence around the outer part of the screen. The center part is aligned, but the green curves out at the ends. Searched and found this site by larry Dillion but the IC chips that he links are marked as sold out.

I am wondering if it is a IC Convergence problem or a deflector issue. Any advice you all can give would help me keep clothes on the kids instead of in some electronics stores bank account! I have fixed the green blinking power light before with your assistance.

The procedure for this starts on page 25,If you cant get the colors to move in the service menu stop attempting to move it because there may be a bigger problem.

Thanks for the response evil. The green lines are the ones that are out (hard curve on the outsides of the picture) can you adjust the green gun only that much on the outside? Found a site for the STK393-110 / STK393-110E Original Lead Free Convergence IC's....

That does look like a pincushion problem, not to knock the web site you found but, I use these web sites with no problems from them. http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?cat=2661 They sell everything including the resistors you may need and instructions plus other support if you need it. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/ will most likely have your IC by itself if you choose to go that route.

Cool... going to buy the repair kit from TV Repairkits.com. I'm assuming that the kit repairs all three IC convergence chips. The step by step photos are a great idea! Thanks for the help!!
