Hello, I saw that most of the threads for this TV are at least a few years old and was wondering if there was anyone around that could still help. I picked up this TV from a friend because it had a convergence problem and thought it might be a nice project. There are three bowed lines at the top and bottom and the convergence option is no longer available on the menu. I purchased a handful of the FL231 fuses because I had heard that the issue was usually caused by this fuse being blown. I then went ahead and desoldered the old one and soldered in a new one. The TV remains the same and has not changed at all. I plan on removing the fuse and trying again, being more careful this time around just in case it was human error, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear back soon. Take care.
Jimmy
You need to get hold of the repair kit for this model. Here is a helpful link:

Look for the RCA ITC222 Convergence Option Missing kit.
Good luck and report back if successful.
I took a look at the info on the kit, but all the parts mentioned seemed to be intact and functioning. How would I go about determining if my convergence power board or convergence board need to be replaced? Is there a way I can determine if either board is causing the problem or are dead? Thanks for the information.
You mentioned that CONVERGENCE is missing from the TV's setup menu, correct? Well, that means you need the kit. Just order it and follow the instructions and your problem will be fixed. This is a common problem with this chassis.
I understand what you're saying. My point is that it would be a waste of time and money if I used the kit that you mentioned to find out that the convergence board was actually the problem. I'm just trying to avoid fixing things that might not be broken. That is why I asked if there was a way to discern whether the convergence power board or the convergence board itself were dead or functioning. I plan on giving evil's idea a shot. Probably will let the tv run for an hour or so and find out if there are any temperature differences on the different boards, which would suggest that they aren't dead.
There might be another issue involved. While I was running the tv to see if the components were functional, I noticed that whenever I'd come back after leaving it on for awhile, the tv would be off. Does this give any clue as to what the problem may be or is this a completely separate problem?
