Sony Model KP 53S15 Projection TV (July 1995) No picture, has sound

Sony Model KP 53S15 Projection TV July 1995

CURRENT CONDITIONS AS OF THIS POST - Initial turn-on 2 rapid clicks from relays (no 3^rd click), standby light blinks continuously with no pause, stereo light comes on steady, audio is good on all channels, no PIP, no Display of any kind, filament voltage glows in the neck of each tube (not measured) (Found with lights off).

July to December 2010
1) TV turns on with sound and picture. I can change channels normally after turn on. But, if I change channels after 10 minutes all video disappears. I can hear audio on all channels but no video. If I turn it off for @30 minutes the picture and sound come back.

Same problem as above but getting worse, takes longer for video to turn on…

Mid January 2011
TV guy (not licensed) troubleshot it for 2 days but made it worse... no video, no sound, no standby light, Nothing! He gave up saying it is old, buy a new one…

I opened the back cover:
- Found blown fuse F1602 3.15 amp on “D” Board
Removed/replaced F1602 AND F1601 - TV turns on - has sound - but no picture

22 Jan
- TV turns on, sound but no picture
- Found all 3 HV cables arcing into air @ 1 inch above HV Block Assembly (found by turning off lights to see where HV noise was coming from)
Removed/replaced HV wire from “E” Board to HV Block Assembly
Cut @1 inch of all 3 HV cables (RGB), soldered end clip and installed into block assembly
Corrected HV arcing but still no video

- TV turns on, sound but no picture, standby light blinks continuously with no pause, stereo light comes on steady
Found ground wire on “A” Board disconnected probably by tv repair guy 3 days ago, since then I had turned the TV off/on maybe a dozen times before I discovered it. (did I fry something:o( Connected ground wire - no change in status
 
 
GOT THIS FROM THE INTERNET BUT DON’T KNOW IF IT APPLIES - Continuous blink once a second, no pausing - No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground, or held high), IK video path is defective (Source http://www.techlore.com/article/15444/Understanding-Sony-Television-Blinking-Codes/;jsessionid=79B2E07DCE43F80AAC68EDAE320F8712 )

But not sure where the IK path runs to/from...
