Panasonic Pt-61hx42f Convergence problem

Hello all, I recently stared having problems losing the color green did some searching and found that I needed to change the conv. chips. Bought a kit from tvrepairkit.com and got to work. Initially I removed the incorrect resistors but replaced them afterwards. Tv powers up and works great for about 15-20 minutes then the green goes away same problem. Turn off the tv and back on after 2-3 minutes same thing. Any ideas and suggestions would be great.

Sounds like the power to the

Sounds like the power to the tube not the convergence,if it were convergence the green would still be there it would just be off centered or bowtied.Check for voltage to the green board.Or it may be a bad green tube.

I hope that's not the case

I hope that's not the case that would mean I changed out good conversion chips =(. I was thinking that as well but all three tubes still illuminate? But I made a discovery last night. One of the resistors marked on the board for conv is burned. I'll upload a photo of it later. the color code on the resistor is red, blue, grey, gold.

THank you for taking the time

THank you for taking the time to respond.

I tried to put those bands in

I tried to put those bands in a caculator and it came up error value to big,you either got the colors wrong or its a non typical resistor.what is the number on the board for that resistor?it may start with r....i'll look for a service manual.Does your tv have a chassis number on the back of it.

I don't have the chassis#

I don't have the chassis# with me and you're right I came up with the same result using resistor calculators. I do know the board is tnp2ah035.

I dont have that manual for

I dont have that manual for that tv.I dont need the board # I need the resistor in question location on the board, once you find that you can look that # up in the service manual and it will tell you what it is,your not going to figure out much without the manual in anycase.

I was able to find it r7060

I was able to find it r7060 and r7066. 0.27 ohm 1w 5%+/- I'll post back once installed.

Replaced the resistors, same

Replaced the resistors, same problem. So weird because all three tubes stay lit...

The Resistor Colors are Red

The Resistor Colors are Red Blue Silver Gold
which is 0.27ohns (silver in the third position (in 3 or 4 color ) is the multiplier .01 so 27 times 27 is 0.27 ohms just like the manual said.

To me it looks like you are

To me it looks like you are looking power to that tube. It does not seem to be illuminated when it does it.
