Hi all,
I have a mitsubishi wd-52725 with a bad FMT board.
I've changed the 4 1000uf capacitors on the board and still no luck. I was thinking of changeing the 64 small capacitors on the board if it's not to expensive but I can't figure out what the numbers on the top of them mean... I googled how to read them but still can't figure it out. They look like a different type than the 1000uf I alredy changed as they are metallic and mount on the board not through it. I would like to replace them with the same style as the 1000's though. I think it would be much easier. My wd-62725 has the different capacitors on the FMT board but I'm not ripping it all apart to get the numbers lol. There are 10 different types of small capacitors on this board, here are some examples of the numbers on top. Thanks for any help
V3 with a line over the V
100
16v
___________
W3P with a line over the W
47
16v
___________
X1P line over the X
47
64v
These sound like surface mounted caps,or non polar caps,You should only replace with what you take out.In my opinion they are generally more reliable than the electrolytic capacitors and do not need changed, unless something obvious happend like lightning.
