I have a Toshiba TP55E80. The problem is with the bottom part of the screen. It is bowed from the left side to the right side. I tried adjusting it with the controls... with no help. The screen at the bottom is double vision as well as the color. The bowing is from the left to right side. I assume this is a convergence problem? Does it require inside adjustment or replacement of parts? Is this something I can do myself?
I cant afford a new tv but would love to fix so the kids can use it.
From what your saying about 3D and menu adjustments not help I would say it needs new Convergence STK's. This involves soldering quite small pins and applying new thermal paste.
