Hello, I am gaving a problem on my unit philips 60pp935217. The problem is the screen fitment, i cleaned the mirror and the lenses and the picture is clear now and the convergence is adjusting but the outer border on all sides is expanded past the screen. I adjust to the best estimated crosshair location. 2)Another problem is when i use the component high deffinition on the 1080i setting the covergence is out of alignment and i get to adjust about 3 to 4 crosshairs then the tv shuts off, like a fail safe, it also does it if i let it stay in this setting. 3) the screen is bowed on the top and a little on the bottom, i have looked through many, many forums and they say to replace the "ic" chips would that also explain the stretched border?

= overscan, 5% is normal, as picture is "weakest" at outer edges.
check: if zoom is on, crt can slip down at neck clamp, service menu adjustments.
Do not make any service menu changes until defective components are replaced.
check solder on ic's and resistors, resolder or replace ic's and heat sink compound
