Hello,
About a year ago the IC went out in my rear-projection TV. I ordered the pieces from tvrepairkits.com, but procrastinated on actually doing the job until here recently. When the convergence went bad, I lost the ability to control the vertical aspect of it, but I could still move the red/blue horizontal.
I replaced the IC and 2x 3.9ohm resistors, and plugged the TV back up. I regained vertical control of red/blue. Everthing was going great until...I made it down to the bottom right-hand corner and the red would not move down any further, but still would not line up correctly. I still tried to adjust it the best I could, but when I left the menu, the lower right-hand corner was way off again. So I went back in and tried to adjust it again, and it snapped back out of place when I left the menu again. So not only does the bottom right-hand corner not line up properly, but any changes made to that area of the grid does not save.
As far as I can tell, the rest of the resistors are good, but I could not find my pico fuses.
Does this sound like it could be a pico fuse problem?
