Mitsubishi WS-55859 shuts down when changing devices

Quite often when changing between devices (DVD to DBS or back) the TV shuts off then the timer light blinks for about 30 seconds before the TV comes back on. This started a couple of months prior to the dreaded full time blinking light (after a power outage). I replaced the seven CAPS and alls fine (thank you Larry and tvrepairkits) except for the original problem with the shutting off when switching. Can this be repaired and is this as easy a fix as replacing those CAPS? I just want this unit to last a couple more years.
