Already had the green blinking light of death repaired last year. A new problem has developed where it the tv is difficult to power up and is getting worse.
The problem began with horizontal sine waves in the display, which would eventually go away as the unit stayed on. Now it is a challenge to just get it to power up, and stay on long enough to get the sine waves, endure those until the display corrects itself, and it will eventually stay powered for about 6 hours.
Have noticed as the summer heat rises the problem has become more pronounced. Have a MITs tech here, but it will cost $55 just to get him out to diagnose.
