Hi Im new to this site. I have a Toshiba TP61F80 rear projection tv made in Oct 1996. I have never had any problems with the tv as long as i have owned it. I have it plugged into the 1 or 2 AUX outlets on the back of my DENON AVR-488. It is set up that when you turn the stereo on the tv turns on as well.
The other night my cat stepped on the remote, it turned of stereo and tv. After i turned on the stereo and tv the power light just blinks. I unplugged it over night then in morning plugged back in and same song and dance. It will just blink once ever like 2 seconds for as long as tv in plugged in. I have looked through the manual and it does not cover any sort of thing. I dont want to let this tv go because its has an amazing picture and my family love it. I am a total newbie when it comes to the internals of a tv. PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY TV.
