I changed the capacitors after I figured out I was looking at the wrong ones and it did nothing to change the status of my TV. Larry, I've heard somethingof convergence IC's, could you explain a little more about these. My problem is the green light blinks for several seconds then the lamp light comes on and I get a code 34. The issue started not long after I installed an EBay bulb and it would eventually come on but now it never does. The bulb has been in about a year, do you think this may be bulb related? It was suggested to ask you for advise on this.
I would go as far as putting in a new bulb if I could be sure that's what it is but if the reapir is going to be a few hundred dollars I would rather go ahead and junk this junky set rather than dumping more money into it.
