tv will power up for only a few seconds, then powers itself off.
red standy light blinks 7 times.
according to service manual I found on this site...this means the horizontal deflection has stopped either due to a +B overcurrent or overheating.
what does this mean? is it expensive to fix? the nearest service is 80 miles away.
or should I just invest in a new tv?
