Hello:
I have a WT-46809 that stopped working recently. If I turn it on, I get a quick flash of green text on the screen and then it shuts down. Checked the diagnostic code, and it's a 21 (X-Ray Protect circuit). Based on seaches on this forum, the problem could be a large number of things. I checked all the fuses and they are all good, including the pico fuses. I don't see any obviously leaking or mushroomed caps. My question is two-fold:
1) Has anyone had sucess troubleshooting code 21s without going to a pro, or should I just cut my losses and get rid of the TV?
2) Would it make more sense to find another WT-46809 for parts and take the main board and power supply out of it?
