Hi!
I have the opportunity to get a 10-year old 45" GE Projection tv at a very good price, but the problem is that the only way to get it home is to put it on it's side to get it into the back of a pickup with a cap on:-( 'Twould be on the road for about half an hour over good roads.
Is it ok to do this? I don't know if it's made to be able to. I really don't want to no matter what, but I have no choice.
I'm wondering if it's like the old addage about you not being able to lay a fridge on it's side, but that's wrong, you can, just not for long, and it has to sit for at least a day before plugging in. But, this is not a fridge, and I worry about the alignment.
