I converged my tv this evening in the full mode using the service mode (display, 5, Vol +, power). First, streightened green lines (were not straight), then converged red over green; then blue over green. Saved by pressing mute and enter. Tried to copy on other modes by changing the value of ALCP to 1 in PJE menu. When I pressed the mute and enter the TV showed all the letters very briefly in 3D patter - when it happened, the letter were like a bow. However, the grid returned but the grid now ended up unconverged and had a bow tie effect i.e. like concave at top and bottom. I had to restraighten the grid lines all over again in all modes. It was a real effort to straighten the lines at the top and bottom of the screen. Is my STK 392-560 failing?
