New to The Forum

I everyone I'm new to the sight and already found some good info here. I've had a 60" philips wide screen for 6 years now and christmas eve it went out then the red convergence won't work now. I ordered a new Mitsubishi DLP 65" last night model #WD-65C9 and was wondering if anyone knows anything good or bad about this tv.

 thanks

We got ours from QVC for

We got ours from QVC for $2000.00 with the stand! It's a 73", it looks good in our living room, but sadly it will cost so much to keep it repaired it is just not worth it! Apparently the bulbs go out anywhere from 2 months to 8 months and they are very expensive, and then there are numerous other problems that are 400.00 - $1000.00 repairs. And all this may occur right after the first year or in our case after the first day!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!

Yes that sounds like a good

Yes that sounds like a good deal, but you should know that each of these tv's comes in several models the wd-65c9 is the lowest priced, but hopefully with the price it will make the repair costs more tolerable. Enjoy your new TV.
