Mitsubishi VS-60719 Steady Green Light?

I have an older model Mitsubishi - Model # VS-60719.  The TV will no longer turn on, only a steady green light (not blinking) will appear for about 10 seconds, then shuts off.  No picture ever appears on the screen, and no sound.  I also hear a faint clicking sound while the green light is temporarily on?  This also does not appear to be the "blinking green light problem" I have read about on other posts, the green light on my set is a steady green light.  While the light was lit, I pushed the menu and input buttons simultaneously and received a 2:1 blink code which apparently means XRay Protection?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Buzz
