I was given this TV on 2/16/2008. It worked fine until September 2009 when my DishTV receiver had to be replaced. I have no manual. I DO have the remote control. The only thing I can get to display is a blue screen with the channel 91 showing upper right corner. I have tried using the setup button on the front of the TV and on the remote. (also I cannot find any hidden compartment on front of TV that some say should reveal additional settings) The limited options I do see will not stay put to whatever I set them to. (If there is an 'enter' setting or similar, I cannot find it). I have had NO luck finding a manual online through RCA or Thompson SA
(who took over RCA in 1986, I believe). I just wish to learn how to setup my 1988 RCA Colortrak F20590HG and hopefully how to use it. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I've given an RCA Stereo Colourtrak too. I websurfed and I gather channel 91 is a setup channel, for setting up gaming and such.
I MIGHT HAVE FOUND YOU A MANUALl!!
I was just looking at an ad for a 1988 Model Manual and I bookmarked it in case I need it for resale value but I have the F26041DG Model which i believe is later than 1988.
It's a pretty old e-Bay ad and it may be gone by now, but perhaps the Series #s can help you with lookup on an old manual site, or maybe the vendor can help.
Here is the link to copy-and-paste into your Browser:

Your DishTV installer should be able to connect Dish equipment so you can operate it on its new remote. I suggest you keep on trying to get this TV manual then call the DishTV installer back to set it up properly.
If for no other reason, the manual will add to its resale value. Good luck on this!
