I have a Sonny KV-36FS10 trinitron WEGA tv. It has started blinking from picture to black screen. I have searched here but other peoples similar problems are not exactly like mine. This is what it is doing:
Power on and the red light blinks for a long time before seeing any picture. When the picture does start to show the red light quits blinking. Now the picture will go from picture to black screen constantly. Eventually slowing to where the picture shows more than the black screen, when it is fully warmed up it will only blink to black screen about every 10 minutes. Never during the time after the initial red blinking light does the red light blink again. I have tested it with satellite, dvd, video game, & nothing at all connected
I have bought me a new tv but was just wondering if this one may be salvageable or if I should just toss it. Thanks in advance
