JVC clicks and will not turn on

I have a JVC AV-65WP74 that will not turn on. When I hit the on button, it clicks and sounds like a heart beat, and then turns off. I'm seeing other posts refering flyback problems. If this is a flyback, how do I take the old one out and replace with the new one? Is there a way to check it first, if so, how? Thanks.
