We have had an RCA 32V420T tube TV we bought in '05. All of a sudden it turned itself off. Now if you try to turn it on, a blue/white thin horizontal line appears for about 3 seconds before the TV turns itself off!
Have tried unplugging everything etc but nothing helps. Also if I touch a channel or volume button on the tv itself it does the same thing (turns on, horizontal line, turns off). Help, thanks!
You have a vertical problem......Most likely the vertical output IC and a couple of caps....200uf/35v
