Hi to all, I have a Magnovox Plasma model 42MF203A/37 which doesn't turn on. When I recieve it the t.v. would not say boo!. I took the back cover of and found that all the connectors that went to the plasma screen were all disconnected along with many other power source connectors. After making sure all connections were solid the t.v.s red light came on when the power cord was plugged in. When I pressed the on button the red light turned blue (good sign), but a few seconds later a pop and smoke started rising from the upper left corner of the t.v. In the area where the smoke appeared I found two ten ohm resistors (R5028 & R5090) open and a diode D5018 shorted.
I need a schematic for this television to progress further. If there's someone the can help or at least direct to a source I would greatly appreciate it.

I had a similar problem with my 42" magnavox plasma tv. It has sound but no picture. It smelled burnt when it first happened. I opened the back of the TV and found two burned resistors (R5028 & R5090) on the y main board.
You have mentioned that they're 10 ohm resistors... how did you know that? I could'nt tell mine coz they both turned black from being burnt. Can you please tell me what's the color code on those resistors. I wanted to double check with you first before I actaully replace them with 10 ohms. Also I wanted to know if you had any luck with your TV.
