I've already repaired this thing twice, so I'm well acquainted with it's innards.
What I want to know, is if it's possible in any way to somehow modify the TV to accept a resolution higher than 1280x720 through the PC input port.
It's really disappointing that it can't, because it's not like a VGA port can't output a resolution higher than that, and the TV is obviously capable of 1080i resolution.
I could attempt to connect my computer to it through the HDMI port, but I lack both a DVI to HDMI adapter, and/or an HDMI cord.
Oh yeah, one more thing. How come when you set the resolution to 1280x720 (or anything, for the matter), and set the format to standard (instead of reduce1 or reduce2), part of the picture is cut off?
This bugs me just about as much, because any text on the screen becomes relatively hard to read with any setting besides reduce1 or 2.
