another green blinking light

Hello all

My family owns a Philips model number: 60PP9100D/37. Last night while watching tv with the family the tv suddenly turned off. Two things came into mind: 1. tv timer went off to turn off tv or 2. one of our twins got a hold of the remote and turned off the tv...neither happened. My husband noticed the power light was blinking twice with a 4 second pause and blinked again.

He did the following in hopes of a quick resolution: unplugged tv and waited a few minutes/replugged,  change outlets to make sure it the original wall outlet the tv was plugged into wasn't faulty, cleaned the inside to make sure dust wasn't making any components overheat and kept tv unplugged for 12+ hrs/replugged. 

All end results was still the double green blinking power light. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
