I have a SONY WEGA KDF 46E2000 rear-projection HDTV. Just yesterday it started shutting itself off while I'm watching television, and the power display has a blinking red light. It blinks 3 times in sequence before pausing and blinking 3 times again. I've looked up the blinking code on this site and it says it's B+OVP and to check T603 and R672. OK, what does that mean? Are these fuses? Do I really need to call a repairman and shell out all kinds of cash if it's just a fuse problem? I don't know anything about fixing televisions, so if this can't be solved by myself I guess I don't have a choice since I really can't afford a new TV right now. But if anyone could help me out with this problem, I'd really appreciate it. It's annoying watching television with it going off every 15 minutes or so.
I have the same problem but finding no answers online thus far. I've had bad luck with repair costs in the past so am very skeptical about calling a professional to come in. I would repair myself if possible but not sure what T603 and R672 are. Any help would be appreciated
