Hi guys,
I have a little problem. I just bought a KP-65WV600 (2003 build) for $100 in good working condition. I did have to turn the screen voltage down for blue retrace lines in pic ( someone had been inside b4 me and adjusted all of them). The problem is, the component video in is a little noisy. I upgraded from a KP-53HS10, which I had it perfectly calibrated and sufford no noise with the same equipment attached to it. The 53HS10 has a beautiful picture despite being a 4:3 set, but I wanted a 16:9 and could not turn it down for the price. I have a PIONEER DVL-909 LD/DVD combo player hooked-up to the 1st in component and to the composite video in ( LD will only work on composite and component is for the DVD section). The othe component video in has my Psyclone PSC1 component video switcher on it with a PIONEER BDP-51FD Blu-Ray, Toshiba HD-A3 HDDVD, Motorola DCT-6512 dual HD box and a HTPC. On one composite video is an Audio Authority composite video switcher with a vcr,Wii, and composite in Motorola digital cable box. Even though this set-up was working perfect on the other set, and it was all reinstalled on the same inputs, would there be any reason why the KP-65WV600 be worse for it? What do you think Larry?
