I have an IBM Thinkpad T41 3.5 yrs old running Windows XP Professional. Just added 1 GB RAM to the existing 256 MB board. How can I tell the speed/protocol of it's built-in wireless LAN component - b, g or n?
I subscribe to Verizon Triple Freedom and know that my DSL jack provides (by direct test) 3 GBPS flow. A Verizon modem-router is attached. I think the need is to know if the T41 is able to keep up with that speed or if I need to attach a USB booster antenna and/or a more contemporary Ethernet PC Card.
Thanks much.
