My buddy just gave me his Sony KP46WT500 because he couldn't fix the convergence problems it had. He used that as an excuse to go out and buy a LCD TV, and now I think all I have to do is replace the IC's and a couple of open fuses on the board, and I'll have a good, cheap TV. I am having a hard time finding a 3.15A pico fuse. Does anybody have any suggestions on where I can find one? I tried mcmelectronics.com, but they don't carry that particular fuse.
Also, I am having a hard time removing the power supply wires so that I can remove the board. Is there a trick to getting these things off. I think I have enough room to work on the board while it is stilll in the tv, but it would be a lot easier if I removed the whole thing and could work at my desk.
Thanks,
Josh
