Hello all,
I have a Sony KV-36FV27 that was working perfectly fine. All of a sudden one morning it would not turn on. I opened up the back and saw that the fuse was burned black, so I took it out and got a replacement from RadioShack. When I put the new fuse in and plugged the power cord, the TV turned on for a brief second and then died again. The replacement fuse was also blown.
I'm no electrician, but am hoping that there is some easy fix for this. I'm guessing something is short-circuiting somewhere. I called the repair guys and they are asking for $150 to just come in and diagnose the problem.
Thanks,
chech the posia on the power supply it is a small black box with 2solder lugs or 3 solder luges i had the same problem on a sony.
