Hi there,
I have a 40" LCD Samsung TV, LE40M86BD with a 'flaring picture problem:
The dark shadow shows up more on green broadcast, not so much on white or red.
There are also two horizontal lines across the screen, the lower of these two lines is at the top of the 'flaring' or shadow, the second horizontal line is about 5cm above the first.
The symtom is always there from switch on to warm. RGB and video input same problem.
Has anyone seen this problem before? Any ideas how to fix it?
I have many years experience with design and development of CRT TVs and set top boxes, but no experience of LCD
