We purchased this TV in 1995 and have had no issues with it. Last night, while it was turned on, the TV made a noise and then went dead. No amount of fussing with it made it turn back on or even respond in any way. The DVR on the same power strip is fine.
Any thoughts on what this could be? I'd rather repair than replace, but before I lug it 30 miles to the repair shop and pay the fee, I want to make sure it is fixable!
