Samsung HLN437 lamp on but no picture

I'm working on a 43" samsung dlp that I bought with issues.  The previous owner said the picture would freeze in black and white and sometimes he had to unplug to turn off.  He tried replacing the lamp but that didn't fix it.  He then sold the original lamp and his replacement before selling me the tv.  I replaced the lamp and colorwheel (colorwheel had bad bearing), the tv will come on, I can hear the color wheel and the lamp is lit, but the screen is dark.  I can hear the audio playing, I switched inputs and got the same thing.  I'm guessing my trouble is with either the digital or dmd board.  Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?  Anyone tried repairing one of these boards?  Thanks in advance.

I made it worse. After

I made it worse. After checking all connections I decided to take a look at the digital board. I do not have the schematic, so I was doing a visual inspection and it looked ok. I moved on to the dmd board and did the same thing. It also looked good. No apparent hot spots, didn't see any cold solder joints no obvious breaks in the printed circuit. After careful reassembly, I tried to power it up. This time the fans will run, but the color wheel never attempts to spin, so naturally the lamp won't fire. I verified the color wheel was connected, even put the original one back in just for kicks, but same thing, set begins to power up but no color wheel? I need some help but I'm too hard headed to take it to the shop.

Does anyone have the service

Does anyone have the service manual for the HLN series tv's. I found one for the HLM, but I don't know how much if any of the info is the same. I'm struggling with HLM manual, it recommends checking the 5V and 12V at CN106, but it doesn't say which pins should have the respective voltage. There is no voltage at any of the pins on the color wheel connector.

Hello Kentuckian: I am having the same problem. First replaced the colorwheel and now no spin on the colorwheel. I haven't tried all of the boards, but I don't want to give up. If you get any info please pass it on.
