We encountered problems with our Mitsu DLP 52" 52725 (we have had it for 3 1/2 years). So far we have replaced 3 bulbs and a ballast. Yesterday our TV was working wonderfully when all of the sudden the screen went snowy (then it progressed to bright colored lines) and now it is completely black (turned it on this morning with fingers crossed)... sound is working great. No lights are on teh TV besides the normal solid green light when it is on. Not sure what to try next... would be interested to find out if anyone else has encountered this or has any ideas on what to try next. I hope its not another lamp but wouldn't the light come on? Hmmmm? Could it be connections or ?? The menu comes up but is blurry and this also happens with our Wii and DVD player (because we originally thought it might be our cable box... not that easy, I guess).
Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for your help... I really appreciate it! We just don't have the money to fix it right now so I am SO crossing my fingers it is something silly that I have overlooked (wishful thinking, I know).
