Flashing Green light on WS65909

i have a mistubishi WS-65909. there a flashing green light on the front that stays on constantly. the T.V will not turn on at all. i already have Sears service tech replaced the power board. Still have the flashing green light. The second Sears service tech said that my DM boards is bad. I went to the Mistubishi Electronic in Atlanta place and see if i can purchase a new DM board, but they said it no longer have or services the board. Is there a fix for this or solutions to it?

all responses & helps are greatly appreciated

I had the same probem as you

I had the same probem as you described with my WS-65909. My power went out for a few hours on Christmas day and when came back on the timer light just rapidly blinked. No combination of pressing buttons helped, but I have a solution that worked for me and only cost about $10. Inside the televsion there is a digital module box (DM) inserted vertically on the far left side (looking from the back) with a small power supply board. There are two boards in the box, but it's the small one on top. You need to unplug the 4 connectors on main boards and then slide the DM board out. There are 7 capacitors on the board. I replaced all 7 capacitors and put it back together and like magic I was running again. I replaced the nichicon 1000uf 16V 105C VZ capactors with the slightly taller PW series. These new ones have a rating 5 times longer than the cheapest ones Mitsubishi put in. I found the new caps at a local electronics shop. I paid $1.24 for each cap. Hope this helps you.
