Sony KP 61v15 picture "arching"

I have a Sony KP 61v15. The picture started to "stretch" on the edges. It is normal in the middle and then the colors/picture arc on the corners. Is it possible that the mirror slipped out of place?
For example, text in the upper right corner will be on a semi-circle arch. Is this a mechanical problem (mirror or something) or an electronic component that would have gone bad?

Not unless you moved or

Not unless you moved or dropped the set would any optics (mirrors, lens) "fall" out of place. Most likely you have a typical convergence failure. electronic troubles. This would involve unsoldering the bad convergence amp IC'S And replacing them with new ones. you will need to know how to solder on printed circuit boards. and of course know how to solder and read a simple circuit schematic. so you can also check out the resistors as well as the fuses in the power supply that controls the power to the convergence chips. then you will need to follow the alignment as described in the service manual.
